Firewood has been awarded a contract by a large independent private hospital in the UK to advise on the construction of their Programme Management capability for their clinical transformation.

The engagement will allow the hospital to draw expertise from Firewood's advisory consultants to help strategise, plan, and model their transformation programme. The transformation has a variety of change initiatives with the aim of modernising processes and bringing together all project functions into a harmonious system.

Firewood's scope of services will include the delivery of a programme plan, the development of frameworks and guidance, governance system reviews, improvement plans, and advice on project level best practices and standards.

The hospital is one of the UK's leading private hospitals. It offers a multitude of support including funding Europe’s largest private stem cell collection unit, which facilitates the work of leading cancer charities. The hospital employs over 1,200 clinical and non-clinical staff, and their 700 world-class consultants specialise in cancer care, digestive diseases, orthopaedics, neurology, cosmetic surgery, liver services, gastroenterology, urology, endoscopy, diabetes, haematology, and endocrinology.
