Project Management Consultant, Manager

We are seeking a talented project, programme and portfolio management (P3M) consultant (Manager grade) with a proven track record in project delivery to provide expert advice to our clients and successfully manage client engagements.

Additionally, we collaborate closely with central and local government organisations. You will work as part of a team on various engagements, within project portfolios ranging from £50m to £5bn per annum. You will have extensive knowledge of project, programme and portfolio management (P3M) methods, governance frameworks and assurance frameworks and will be able to integrate these into existing procedures to deliver results. 

 

Key Responsibilities​

  • Provide advice on project, programme and portfolio initiation, management and delivery

  • Provide guidance on Target Operating Model design and business change initiatives

  • Conduct project, programme and portfolio assurance reviews  

  • Manage end to end project(s) both internally and for our clients

  • Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders

 

Qualifications and Skills​

  • Must have 6+ years of experience in a consulting/delivery role working across multiple sectors, including Financial Services, Infrastructure and/or Central Government 

  • Must have demonstrable experience of delivering projects and managing multiple priorities

  • Must have delivery experience in CRM (e.g. Salesforce) and/or ERP (e.g. Oracle/SAP) related projects

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills 

  • Well-organised with a customer-orientated approach 

  • Coaching, mentoring and leadership development skills

  • Relevant P3M qualification(s) (e.g. APM, PMI, AXELOS) 

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification(s)
