Product Manager

Our clients include FTSE100 firms across various sectors including financial services, energy, infrastructure and more. We also advise and work closely with central and local government organisations. Our team are renowned for our work on the development of industry best practice but more importantly we pride ourselves on helping our clients improve their capability to deliver sustainable value to their customers.

 

We are looking for a Product Manager to support our continued growth and aspirations. You will oversee the product development life cycle of our ‘Firewood Tools’ and manage the development team to deliver products and services that help our clients always deliver successful projects. The role is primarily remote with 1-2 days per week in our London office and on client sites across UK.

Key Responsibilities​

  • Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps that align with company goals and market trends

  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market opportunities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and sales, to develop and launch new products

  • Define product requirements and specifications and communicate them effectively to the development team

  • Monitor product performance and conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement

  • Develop pricing and positioning strategies for products

  • Create and manage product budgets and timelines

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the product development team

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and market trends to identify new opportunities

 

​Qualifications and Skills​​

  • 7+ years experience working in product management or a related role

  • Ability to create product development and marketing strategies

  • In-depth knowledge about the project management industry and product's users

  • Ability to analyse complex data to identify market trends and customers' behaviour

  • Strong project management skills

  • Proven ability to manage and supervise multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills

  • Well-organised with a customer-orientated approach

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification(s)
