Developing IPMA's Individual

Competence Baseline

Firewood partner Tayyab Jamil was asked by the APM to be the UK representative and co-editor of the Individual Competence Baseline for working in agile environments for the International Project Management Association (IPMA).

This reference guide is part of the International Competence Baseline Version 4 (ICB4) which is the global standard on competence for project, programme and portfolio managers. The ICB4 provides a clear language and a basis for development and learning for all project professionals.

Tayyab helped define how each of the people, practice and perspective elements describes the agile mindset and how this is translated into observable competent behaviours

We have have contributed the development of best practice including PRINCE2®, P3M3® and the APM Body of Knowledge
